Our pack posts general information about major upcoming pack events on our Events blog.

In addition, our pack and dens keep an up-to-date calendar of events in Scoutbook. After you login to Scoutbook, navigate to My Dashboard > Events > My Calendar

How to sync the Pack’s calendar

Scoutbook allows you to sync the pack and den calendars with your own digital calendar service. Whether it’s Google Calendar, iCal, Outlook, Yahoo, etc., you can likely sync and view pack and den events alongside your other activities.

To start, log in to Scoutbook.

Navigate to My Dashboard > Events > My Calendar

Select “Subscribe” for the Pack calendar and the Den calendar for each of your Scouts…

…and then copy and past the URL shown highlighted in light blue from the window that pops up. Note: your URL is unique to you, and shouldn’t be shared with other leaders or adults.

Lastly, find where you can add a Calendar by URL in your calendar application. In the below example, we’re showing how you can paste the URL into Google Calendar’s “Add by URL” function.

And that’s it! You’ll now see pack calendar events alongside your personal, work, and/or other calendar events!

If you attend Davis Elementary, you can also add their school calendar with this URL: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/davisdolphins%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics

You may find instructions for adding Calendars in other applications like iCal, Outlook, and Yahoo by searching the web. Also, you may need to subscribe to the calendar separately on your iPhone or Android device.

The calendar will usually sync about once a day, so if a change doesn’t show up right away, give it some time.
